Résumé Lou, an ethnologist, and a Montagnais on her father's side, leaves on an expedition to the Far North. A man tells her about the shaking tent where time and space cease to exist and it is possible to communicate
with the dead. Then he has her drink the water from a strange lake. Suddenly it is 1966 again, in the middle of a violent strike, and the workers, both White and Montagnais, are fighting
to defend their interests. A monster, Atshen, emerges from a steaming vat and a fierce power
