Résumé Kiko, a troubled tough little guy who lives in a mobile home, forms an unlikely alliance with Peanut, a geeky child of immigrant parents whose autistic sister Sylvie is kept in the basement and is a family shame. Both are rejected at school, they find common ground in their dream of boarding an alien spacecraft they believe will soon make a night landing on Mount Royal, in the centre of Montreal.

- Décor: On stage: the frame of a house under construction, now abandoned. It can be used as an area of play for the actors and to support the different settings that need to be portrayed. The frame itself, without the artifices of lighting and sound, seems to give off a sense of brokenness and desolation.
Scenes 1 and 2: Chico wanders onto the school's outdoor skating rink, now dry but the boards still standing
3: At Chico's, in his room.
4: In a small wooded area, typical of suburban developments.
5: Night. Chico and Peanut, in Sylvie's room.
6: In the tree house.
7: Peanut's room, night. A bed. A closet. A window. He slowly lifts the blind. Chico appears, leering and wearing antennae.
8: Peanut, the same night, in his sister's room.
9: In the tree house.
10: Night. The railway bridge. Peanut and Chico are lying between two sets of rails.
11: In the park.
12: An afternoon. Chico and Peanut climb the ladder that goes up to the tree house.
13: In front of the haunted house.
14: That same night. Peanut, in his sister's room.

16: Morning, in the park.
17: Early in the morning. Peanut bangs on the window in Chico's room. Chico appears.
18: A deserted street, the middle of the afternoon. Chico and Peanut are running while pushing an empty wheelchair.
19: Martian night. Peanut and Chico, hidden behind a bush, watch Sylvie's window with binoculars.
20: On the mountaintop. A bush.
21: Several hours later. It's almost four o'clock in the morning. Chico's alarm beeps.

Extrait « CHICO : When you smoke a joint, you get stoned. Stoned. That means you don't feel anything anymore. You mother can screw the neighbour in the next room, and it doesn't mean shit. People beat the crap out of you, doesn't mean shit, the fridge is empty, doesn't mean shit. Why? Because when you're stoned, everything gets very very fucked-up. Since everything's fucked-up, fucked-up things get mixed up with other things that aren't, and you get fucked-up too, and nothing bothers you anymore.
