The Field [1997]
Original
Résumé In cinematographic like sequences, this play follows a child on the run. Like a hunted animal, he flees a nameless danger. He finally reaches a vast field of golden wheat; a haven of peace. This place is inhabited by a strange hunter who avoids humans and shelters injured animals in his cabin. The child is left to watch and wait and hope. Extrait « THE CHILD : The human didn't like me… but I wished we could be friends… He was the first human that I'd met… and I didn't have anywhere else to go… I wished I could go inside the cabin too… […] But the human wanted nothing to do with me. » Revue de presse "Louise Bombardier has written a remarkable play filled with mystery and poetry."
