Original
Résumé The play presents three days, three men, three generations. Pete, a thirty year old musician and composer is caught in the throes of artistic creation when Dupuis, his prosperous landlord, comes barging in. Dupuis suspects there is more to life than balancing the books and he hopes Pete can help him find the answer. So does a total stranger, François, a young epileptic punk who breaks and enters through the back window. Emotions run the gamut from hostility to compassion, from violence to tenderness, as the members of this unlikely trio face their personal problems and each other. Extrait « DUPUIS: You're tough. Your generation just doesn't appreciate the refinements, the subtlety …the finesse of the world of figures. You've never had a chance to realize that figures have to be handled with care. With tender, loving care. Maybe some day… [PETE plays a few chords on his instrument.] |
