Charlie is training for the Canadian Junior Diving Championships at the neighbourhood pool, where Agnès is doing her physical rehab therapy. On the surface, nothing ties them together. A maiden voyage set at the neighbourhood pool, Sœurs Sirènes (“Mermaid Sisters”) invites us to question our preconceived notions and to imagine a future filled with possibilities for children on the margins.
