Splinters (Copeaux) is about the demise of a relationship, the end of things and what remains behind. Copeaux depicts a love story that ends with little fanfare, but not without heartbreak. The play draws its inspiration from the visual world of Canadian artist Stefan Thompson, a world populated by animals, troubling figures and dreamlike forests. Copeaux is a poetic text, in which each image has been chosen to inhabit the space between dream, reality and regret.
