Marie is a novelist. Her last novel raised the ire of her feminist icons, leaving her eviscerated and unable to write. After a number of miscarriages, she is advised through telemedicine to keep the fetus in the freezer so that it can undergo testing. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Perceval, writes poems with the algorithm he created, and her friend, ex-actor Claire, climbs the corporate ladder selling Tupperware. During a dark and dastardly night in November, while the rain lashes the windows and the 3D printer emits its shrill call, Marie gives birth to a morbid idea that is going to shake everything up.
